Transport and storage systems - Lime powder silo

MARPO has delivered 2 chambers silo for lime powder storage for NORDKALK company. Total capacity of the silo is 500 cu.m.

The silo is loaded by screw feeder conveying material from bucket elevator. Depending on the type of lime, material is discharged into one of the two internal silo chambers.

Lime powder from the silo is loaded into tankers by loading bellows.

MARPO fulfilled the „turn key" delivery. We made piling for foundations, foundations, loading ramp for tankers, silo, technical equipment and cabling.

The silo is equipped with:

• 2 loading bellows,
• flow aid equipment at outlet cones,
• dedusting system,
• screw feeder for silo loading,
• material's level measuring equipment for 2 chambers,
• lighting.
